Admiral Sven Yngve Ekstrand (22February 1888 – 30March 1951) was a Swedish naval officer. Ekstrand was born in Uppsala, attended the Swedish Naval Academy, and was commissioned into the Royal Swedish Navy in 1908. He achieved high honours at the academy and first place in every course he took subsequently. In 1929 he served as adjutant to the king and in 1936 was appointed senior adjutant. In 1939 he was appointed Chief of the Naval Staff and in 1945 took command of the East Coast Area. Ekstrand was a vociferous proponent of Moral Re-Armament, both in Sweden and overseas. He died suddenly while still serving as commander of the East Coast. ==References== *Obituary, ''New World News'', May 1951 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Yngve Ekstrand」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
